You can spend hours on the beach without realizing or even checking the time while listening to the soothing sound of the waves. The whole city is stretched on the coastline of 100kms, so you have more than one option. You can spend your time playing on the beach or work on your tan.

The beaches are free, and there are almost 12 public beaches, and there are plenty of hotels and beaches where people can stay after enjoying their day at the beaches. There are even communities near beaches, like Port De La Mer Dubai and Jumeirah Beach Residence.

Let’s have a look at some of the best beaches of Dubai

AL MAMZAR BEACH

It is located at the Deira, close to the border of Sharjah and Dubai, and if you are in that area of Dubai then consider yourself lucky. The calm blue water with colourful rocks and bays, makes it one of the best beaches, not only in Dubai but also in the world. You can have delicious seafood at the restaurants near it, including crab, fishes, and prawns while sight-seeing. You are never going to love this place if you are a fan of beaches.

There are four shades of the sand on the beach, also shady trees and lush green grass, so it is sure that it will please everyone. There are some other facilities, like a basketball court, football court, and also a small skatepark for skate lovers. Small hut-type shops are set up to sell the essentials of the beach, like lotion and snacks.

Stalls are selling some meals such as burgers and sandwiches. Many people pack their bag and buy some sandwiches from these stalls and make their day out of it.  The barbeque stands are high in demand throughout the whole day. The entry in the park can be AED 5 per person and AED 30 per car.

KITE BEACH

This is located on the stretch of Jumeirah Beach Road, as the rays of sunshine are so bright on the beach, it has recently made its name on the list of the hottest spots of Dubai. The area has an area for the basketball court and tennis court, also for volleyball, and a track for running and jogging.

Cute cafes and little food trucks are offering delicious lunch and meals, which is hard to find anywhere else in this city. You can make some tasty dessert from your home and take it to the beach, or else these cafes are offering some mouth-watering meals and deals that are so lucrative. Even if you have prepared a meal from your home, you still will be wanting to buy something from them.

There is a reason behind this unique name of this beach, due to the popularity of this beach with kite surfers, which is a very common sport in Dubai. Now the city has taken some measures to cut down this sport for the safety of swimmers and fishers. You can get more information about this beach by reading books or visiting the website of Kite Beach. The waves can be a little bit of a problem, so you have to be very careful if you are visiting this beach with children.
