How to Brush Your Teeth Properly

Want to learn how to brush your teeth properly? Well you have come to the right place! The problem is brushing is so second in nature which makes you hardly give it time or even think about it. Remember, cleanliness is the key to oral health as it helps you avoid cavities and gum problems. Realizing this fact, we are giving a few tips for how to brush your teeth in the right way. Take your time to go through them.

  • Choose the Right Toothbrush

Unfortunately no one cares about even if they have the right brush or not. When buying a toothbrush, you need to think about size of your mouth, the length of brush and how it will feel (soft or hard). Before you buy a brush, learn about what kind of bristles suit you the best.

In addition, you need to choose between the manual and electric option. If your bristles are too stiff, they will damage your gums, so be careful when buying a brush.

  • Improve your brushing technique

Have you ever though if you are overdoing it? Brushing three times a day is not a good idea. If you brush too much, you will damage the enamel on your teeth.  If you are using an electric toothbrush, be gentle with it and only guide the brush. The electric brushes don`t take long to remove plague.

How to brush your teeth properly? If no then it’s a good time to start. You need wide side to side strokes which will scrape your gum line. Just hold your breath at a 45 degree angle and use short strokes to make an up and down motion. You need to brush both of your inner and outer teeth. Make sure you cover the back molars, surface and even your tongue.  If you miss a spot, it might become affected with plague.
