Why you should not give up kefir?

Kefir has a positive effect on the work of the digestive tract. It is known that kefir contains microorganisms beneficial for the intestinal microflora. The use of probiotics helps with diarrhea, as well as digestive disorders caused by taking antibiotics, and for recovery after a course of antibiotics.

Kefir is useful for ulcers and gastritis. Especially those who have problems with the intestines and stomach caused by the bacterium Helicobacter pylori. Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and irritable bowel syndrome are also indications for drinking sour milk.

Kefir helps protect the body from cancer. Probiotics are also known to increase the body’s defenses, but also reduce the production of carcinogens. A source from the Journal of Medical Foods published a study showing that kefir prevents the proliferation of breast cancer-causing cells.

Kefir helps fight allergies. Kefir is useful for asthma and allergies, as it contains a polysaccharide. It helps to eliminate inflammatory processes.

Kefir helps cleanse the body. Surely you have heard about special kefir diets. We are against diets in general, but for proper nutrition as a way of life. As a result of metabolism in the digestive system, decay products are formed that contribute to poor health, headaches and heaviness. To prevent this from happening once a day, drink one glass of kefir. Thanks to the presence of beneficial microorganisms, your well-being and health are safe!

Kefir is suitable for those who are lactose intolerant. It’s strange, but everyone who cannot drink milk tolerates kefir and yogurt perfectly. Therefore, add it to your diet if you suffer from dairy intolerance.

Important to know: Kefir can be given to babies when they reach eight months and only special brands of baby food. Due to the content of ethyl alcohol – kefir is not recommended for lactating and pregnant women.
